Chinese New Year

This Chinese New Year has passed, and now, my task is to choose a colour and symbol that represents Chinese New Year.
So, I have chosen RED.
Why red? As you can seem during Chinese New Year, all decorations are in red. Red lanterns, red banners, red packets. Even the streets are decorated in red.
The Chinese love the colour red. Red symbolizes a blissful life, wealth and ensure you a safe year. So that's why during Chinese New Year, everything is in red. We even wear red.

The symbol I've chosen is this " 福”. This word means to have a blissful life and may all your ken see come through. This word is pasted upside down because it will mean “ 福倒了 ”. Which means that joy and prosperity is here! Which the Chinese believe it be a blessing.

This is the picture I have chosen. 2014, this year is the year of the horse. This picture shows a strong and handsome horse in front, this shows that this year is going to be a great year for everyone and blissful.

I wish everyone a happy Chinese New Year! And get more money!!!! Haha!
